Being a Breakwater team member will involve supporting customers and resolving their issues, either remotely or via onsite visits. You must be prepared to take ownership and responsibility for ensuring that the customers are always kept abreast of the situation, even after the issue has been resolved. There will also be occasions whereby you will be expected to provide pre-sales technical reviews of customer sites presenting your findings and recommendations to the Breakwater management team.
All applicants will be expected to have a strong knowledge of the following:-
- MS Windows Server
- MS Exchange
- MS Office
- Veritas Backup
- Citrix
- Sophos Antivirus
- Cisco Pix Firewalls & firewall skills in general
- TCP/IP skills, DNS, WINS, DHCP, VPN
- PC, Server and network hardware troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of standard telephone systems and/ or VOIP may be an advantage as would Mac/Linux skills
